Good news! The development of large convenience and fuel centers on I-25 at Palmer Lake and on I-70 at Bakerville won't go forward, preserving lands, trees, wildlife, views and history of the Ute people in the region. Members of NASTaP participated in public comment against the mega-developments. Thank you to all who contributed. But, it's only a matter of time before threats to sacred lands will reappear.
